Nokia N93

Starting with multimedia capabilities, the new Nokia N93 includes a 3.2 megapixel auto focus camera with Carl Zeiss optics and 3x optical zoom, a 2.4″ QVGA display, and full audio/video playback capabilities. Review

The Nokia N73 has top notch reception, and is among the strongest RF phones. We tested it both on Cingular’s 850MHz network and T-Mobile’s 1900MHz network in the US. Both incoming and outgoing voice are clear with no distortion, static or other unpleasant audio artifacts. …The N73 has one of the best cameras of any phone on the market, with only Nokia’s own N93 and the Sony Ericsson K790 / K800i competing. If you don’t need smartphone features, then the Sony Ericsson offers serious competition but it can’t compete with the Nokia on syncing, powerful PIM applications, Office viewers, PDF viewer and 3rd party software. The phone has excellent reception and call quality with fast data rates over EDGE and good ergonomics (though the straightforward design might seem boring it does make for an easy to use phone). Bluetooth is fast which is a plus when transferring those big photos and videos. The screen is gorgeous! Battery life is good and the smartphone is responsive in all tasks.”

Review

n72 is something between n series and 60’s series the only one in the n series that don’t have a fornt camera but still a 2 mega camera , radio , music player , and it have a cool look with sexy pink or classic black , also it is easy to find application for n72 as it takes the same appilacation for series 60 2nd edition like 3230 and 7610 , up to 1 gb , i could say it is a great mp3 player , and i think is better in n70 in things but the absence of 3G is not cool

Review

The Nokia 6085 is an inexpensive clamshell phone with expandable memory and an MP3 player, pitched to sell at €175 before tax and subsidy.

Frankly, it’s a pretty disappointing mix of components that appear to have been thrown together. Nokia have revise a fairly standard overall look that we’ve seen in other 6000 series clamhshells, and then added a low end 128×160 pixel display and VGA resolution camera. Admittedly, the Nokia 6085 comes with a microSD slot, FM radio, Bluetooth and an MP3 player and usefully it is a quad-band GSM phone.. but overall it’s a pretty unsatisfactory mix of components.

Nokia 5200 Review

Posted by swati pathak on May 27, 2008

One of two new slider handsets in the ‘Expression’ range, Nokia has announced the 5200 budget music phone from the Open Studio event in New York today. With a bright color scheme, the Nokia 5200 is sure to appeal to the fun-loving youth market. While specifications for the Nokia 5200 aren’t that high-end, it does provide for a compact device for people on the go. On the music front, Nokia has included support for MP3, WMA, M4A, AAC, AAC+, and eAAC+ format files, and thrown in a microSD memory card slot for storing up to 2GB of audio. While the 5200 only provides a 2.5mm headphone port, Nokia has kindly included a 3.5mm adapter and a set of headphones in the box. Limited imaging is available through a VGA resolution camera that can also record video at QCIF resolution. Connectivity wise, the tri-band (GSM 900/1800/1900MHz) Nokia 5200 supports USB, Infrared, and Bluetooth, as well as EDGE high-speed data.

The Nokia 5200 mobile phone comes with easy to use fun features which will keep the user entertained when they are on the move. The handset comes in two coloured designs & the selectable coloured sections highlight the phones easy access keys & the colourful screen. The choice of coloured sections are bright blue which brings a fresh look to the Nokia 5200 or a striking red coloured section which brings a streetwise feel to the handset. The Nokia 5200 is a style conscious mobile phone which comes with a spring assisted slide opening mechanism which is a pleasure to use. The user will find the phone easy to open in one hand & easy to operate all the controls in one hand. The high colour screen can be viewed when the phone is in the slide closed or slide open position & provides the user with a 262k colour TFT display. The main keypad can be accessed when the phone is in the open position & the keys are well spaced out for ease of use. The phone has easy access keys situated externally so the user can accept calls, access the camera feature & access the FM radio when the phone is in the closed position. The Nokia 5200 looks similar in handset design to the Nokia 5300 XpressMusic mobile phone but the built in features are unique to each handset.
